The darker side of New Wave Music. Featuring a collection of obscurities and left-field tracks. A collection of tracks representing the Britpop movement from the late 80's through the late 90's. Britpop was a genre that encompassed all periods of popular British music. From Mod, New Wave, Glam, and many others. A collection of tracks representing the early 80's New Romantic Movement. Including some of the 70's artists that influenced the style. A collection of tracks representing the history of Glam Rock. From it's inception in the early 70's all the way to the revival spurned by a handful of Britpop artists in the 90's. As well as some of the early Post-Punk and Batcave artists that were inspired by this style. You won't find a lick of Hair Metal here either (thank god). A Grebo compilation. Grebo was a scene primarily in the UK in the late 80's and early 90's that fused trashy Hip-Hop, Industrial, and Punk. A lot of the bands in the early Rave scene fell into this categorey as well. This comp is composed of two discs, each representing music that would fit into a Fairytale (Disc 1), and a Darker Fairytale (Disc 2). This is a collection of music to get lost in the woods to.
